Ram Air pan
Are the original Ram Air pans under the hood made of metal? I thought I read somewhere the aftermarket ones are made out of plastic, is this correct?
Thanks.

Original pans are metal. The first reproductions were plastic or fiberglass. Reproductions are now metal.

Originals are die stamped steel. Only the early repro's were made of Fiberglas, think late '80's. Of course, the Fiberglas stuff is still being sold today.
Tim Benco has had the '69 and '70 RA pan and upper plate reproductions out, now, for nearly 20 years, they are what you will see Warpath and Ames selling. Very high quality.
