Default Wrong motor mounts?

So motor should be coming back from the machine shop any day now and i'm getting the engine bay ready. Here where my problem comes in. This is a 69 custom S. Originally it was in inline 6 but im dropping in a 400. The frame was shot when I got it so I swapped the frame. The frame is out of a 72 GTO or so I was told. The trouble is I ordered new mounts for a 69 GTO from napa, just cheap ones for now. They seem to be to small for the frame mounts or the frame mounts are to big. So my question is which is wrong?
Heres the frame mounts I have

and here is the engine mounts up agents the frame mounts. The frame mounts are about a 1/4" to wide.

So is it the cheap mounts, the frame mounts or the fact that they are for a 69 instead of a 72?

Default Frame mounts

Your frame mounts are wrong. Not for a V-8 Pontiac, but I'm not sure what they are for.

Those are 6 cyl. frame mounts. You need 8 cyl. frame mounts.
