Default steering wheel size advice

Having changed by steering in my 64 GTO from manual to a 2 1/2 lock to lock power steering box, my 15" steering wheel feels a bit too big. Any thoughts on size for a replacement?

Here is my experience with steering wheels. The PO of my 70 LeMans installed a 13" Grant steering wheel. Problem was the Grant blocked the speedometer view from 50-70 mph. If the steering column was tilt this wouldn't be a problem but mine isn't. I ended up changing back to a oem Pontiac 15" steering wheel.

I had a smaller Grant wheel on my 65 GTO and found that reading the panel was difficult but not impossible.
I did finally put an original sport wheel on it making it a lot easier to see the panel. And it made it a lot easier to turn the wheel with the standard steering that my car has.

I purposely put in a smaller Grant wheel since i don't have tilt and my thigh hits the bottom of the wheel when I get in and out.

One of these days I'll get a tilt.
