The Bronze is fairly soft and some light material removal I would consider normal. Are all the lifter bores doing this? Are you running an offset pushrod seat with really high spring pressures? Do you know what your lifter to bore clearance is? I don't run Isky lifters but they all can have sharp edges at the oil bands and at the top of the lifter body above the wheel and axle. Those would be good areas to look at and possibly de-burr. I guess the good news is they are easy to change if they get too chewed-up to use. By the way BHJ who is probably the manufacturer of the bushings, has a new harder bronze material if you decide to replace them. They are much harder and have to be honed to size. Can't really ream this material. Even the hard bushings won't win the battle between a sharp lifter and bronze though.
