pavilions at talking stick
As a follow-on to a recommendation by some of our AZ members, I stopped by my first show of the year while visiting family over Easter weekend. Mostly Chevy, Mopars, and Fords - only saw one Pontiac in the crowd. Here's a few:

frittering and wasting the hours in an off hand way.... 1969 GTO, 455ci, 230/236 Pontiac Dude's "Butcher Special" Comp hyd roller cam with Crower HIPPO solid roller lifters, Q-jet, Edelbrock P4B-QJ, Doug's headers, ported 6X-8 (97cc) heads, TKO600, 3.73 geared Eaton Tru-Trac 8.5", hydroboost, rear disc brakes......and my greatest mechanical feat....a new heater core. |

I'm a little surprised there were few Pontiacs there when you visited. I was there during Barrett Jackson in January, and I saw a lot of very very nice cars - red 62 SD Catalina magazine car, 57 Bonneville fuelie convertible, and so on. Not the caliber of car you'd expect to see at your average show and shine!
