'69 clutch and brake pedals
Howdy folks, can someone please post a picture or 2 of an original, correct set of pedals. I've seen several representations which turn out to be 67/8 or Camaro, but nothing definitive as 1969 FB. I've been told that 69 is different from the others and the others have to be tweaked in order to work. Hopefully someone can help out and clear up the confusion. Thanks in advance.

Here is my June 69 Norwood built Firebird. It came with the GTO style clutch and brake pedal pads.
The car has the decor group so the pedals had the stainless trim (not on the gas pedal though, maybe it was changed at some point) and like GTO's the parking brake pad switched midyear from ribbed with trim to a "brake" labelled pad without trim. In this photo I've replaced the brake and clutch pads but the originals were the same. Most sources say a 69 Fbird should use the chevy style pedals with the chrome trim in the center but every 69 I saw over the years in boneyards was like mine.

Mine is a Lordstown car around early March build, the pedals are the same. You can see pictures by clicking on my Firebird site in my signature.

If you are lucky enough to find a set of original 69 bird pedals then use them but they are becoming crazy expensive. I ended buying a set 69 camaro clutch brake pedals and nodded my auto bracket to accept the camaro pedals. Wasn't easy but a lot cheaper to buy and get 4 spd pedals in my car.

FWIW
Here are some images of a Pedal Assembly I salvaged from a 1969 Firebird OHC/SPRINT.
They still wore the correct factory paint/dip.

Thanks folks, I think that I've finally got it. A friend came by with a photo of his brother-in-laws original 69 (bought new by his folks) and the clutch/pedal assembly looks just like the one posted by Jeff. Now all I have to do is find one.
