Have a 62 parts car with all the after market pulleys, brackets, froze up comp., and unit for in the car. FREE! Pay shipping. Will have to wait till we thaw out up here. John

Not to get off subject here, but do you have any 4bbl linkage parts from your Tempest, John? I've been looking for a throttle spring bracket...if I can't find one here, then I'll have just have a fella I work with make one. Thanks

I have the bracket/bolt set for an a/c motor off a '62 Tempest. Got it off the car at Desert Valley Auto but didn't take the motor, which was the original big heavy one. Those must've really drained the power out of those 4-bangers! But that 61 has a different a/c set up.

Thanks, again, John! This will be an easy make. Yeah, when you come out here, we can get together...my Tempest isn't running yet, though. Keith, a nice and very knowledgeable fella, can be tricky to get a hold of. He's been at my house several times helping me work on my '62, which has made a huge difference. I just watch him apply his skills and learn from them. Nothing like experience! Keith's got a harmonic balancer pulley he's giving me and the base for my 4bbl that he cleaned up. Once those are here, just have to rebuild the 4bbl, get some new spark plugs/wires, clean the distributer points, get the new (bigger) exhaust, clean the radiator, add some oil and tranny fluid, and be good to go! Providing that there's no further surprises lurking, of course. Just a couple of cosmetic things after that. Looks like you got a nice drop top there...1 or 4bbl?
