Default Holleys Hydramat Fuel pickup

Thanks to Ollie over in the boost forum(http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...96#post5331796 post 13)

I found out Holley has an interesting new fuel pickup you all might want to check out.

Ollie posted this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_jsSPRUTSA

here is Holleys youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfE1v65fNZI

Seems pretty amazing... Think I'm going to investigate this further! So far digging around on Holleys website I've found they are developing one thats compatible with methanol and another for diesel fuel... Current one is not compatible with oils.

Wonder how to hook it to a stock type sender to get out of the tank.

For sure plumbing it shouldnt be as hard as sumping a stock tank. Id ditch a stock pickup and run a line from mat to a bulkhead type fitting. One of the videos showed magnets to hold the mat in place which is ok for steel tanks. Guessing fuel cell foam could hold it adequately in non magnetic tank/cell.

I guess put an AN bulkhead fitting on the sender to connect to the matt and then out to a fuel line so the sender can seal the tank top.

Looks promising. Apparently they already tried multi-pickups.

We used all Fuel Safe products in my custom tank. Nascar stuff. Pickup and trap doors.
But I bet Holleys stuff costs less.
