POCI Offer Extended
We have gotten such a huge response in the last few days from the POCI mailing, so we want to extend a big "Thank You" to everyone who responded.
Since the mailing went out a couple of weeks later then we had planned, we have decided to extend our "14 Months for the Price of 12" deal through the end of January. This gives everyone a little more time to save some money on this historic POCI membership deal. The digital version of the January issue of Smoke Signals is available now, so if you join up through poci.org, you will have immediate access to it and will still have enough time to get in on the January mailing. The cutoff for the January mailing is coming up very soon so please act now if you haven't already. Thanks!

We set a new one-day membership yesterday, with 91 people joining POCI for the first time. Thanks to all who joined and a call out to those still on the fence. Let's close out 2014 right!

Don, I got the mailing recently. I renewed back in Sept for 2 years.
Out of curiosity, is this special offer for new members only? I was contemplating extending my membership just to get the extra issues. |

Technically, the offer is only for new members but...

How do I find out if my old member number is still available. Emailed my name and prior / current addresses but never got a reply to this question..

Paul was buried with the promotional campaign. He had to send out several hundred new member packets. Your old number is available. When you apply, just send a note that you want your old number back and he can just re-activate you. Not at all a problem. Rather than e-mail, just call him at 877-368-3454.

Don
I just renewed, even thought my membership does not expire till March 9, 2015. Haven't gotten any new mailings, and did not know it is for only new members, so my membership will still be good till March 9th, 2016. Hope to see you in Louisville. Arnie Krause aka Nomadac |

If you want to try calling the club office 877-368-3454, they might still have it on file. If you have the number, it would be a lot easier.

When POCI canned Don Keefe, the one individual that campaigned for more support of POCI, it put a bad taste in my mouth. His efforts convinced me and probably many others to join the club. I haven't bought Exxon gasoline since they ran aground in Alaska spilling 11 million gallons of oil in 1989. I will never buy another new GM vehicle as long as I live. I am no longer interested in POCI, SS goes straight into the trash can as my short lived membership runs its course.
I do enjoy Poncho Perfection!

Whenever I see this issue about POCI and Smoke Signals come up, I wonder exactly what it is that all the complainers actually want or think the club should be doing for them. Just want it to be a performance only thing featuring Goats, Firebirds, Super Duties, stick shifts, and e-headed 500 cube motors or ???????? Just curious.

I liked the issues of SS I opened, but now it goes into the trash can. For me, it's not about SS, it's about the way POCI treated the person that did so much for the club.
