Default Finally some paint on the 66

All of you have provided a great amount of direction on my first race car build.

Thank you again.

I finally have the pleasure id seeing some paint on it, and put the grinder back in the tool box. ;-)

Thank goodness the rotisserie just barely fit by a few feet.

I'm glad it's well liked, I really wanted somthing that would stand out in a group of cars.

Now the hard part, saving up for the power plant. lol...

Here's the latest picture of my project.
Only trim left to put on is the rocker moldings which will need some cutting for fit.
Interior just needs some 45.1 roll padding and it will be done.

This weekend the guy's coming over to cover the car with "Old School" signage, and the name of the build will finally be exposed!

That looks awesome the way it is now! It has that perfect stance/rake! Don't letter/decal it, leave it as is!!!

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one that likes the color, it's been allot of fun designing this one from the ground up. I found some great people that has helped me with this, that I hope to call friends and not just business associates.

But the whole goal of this build is to make my old school drag car that I wish I had when I was younger.

Big tires, Big rake, Big color, 60's Big graphics, Big noise and hopefully fast enough for my taste.

I probably will never beat any of you long time pro's at Norwalk. But when it's done I going to give it hell trying! (really looking forward to it)

Here is a pic of the interior.
