Quadrajet 7040267 - 1970 GTO 455 Manual Transmission
I'm keeping an eye out for a 7049267. This one's been on eBay for quite some time:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/191384298816?redirect=mobile Does that seem at all strange to have a 1977 date code? I understand there are a lot of Service Replacements out there, but 7-8 years later? Also, the font for the "267" portion of ID doesn't match the rest of it. Is that typical or would you guess there's some monkey business going on? |

Aside from the lack of wear and tear, who really cares if it's NOS when it has such a "wrong" date code? The search continues.
