Default I think I should buy some lottery tickets

I went out to the trailer to pull the car out and do a little work and it wouldn't budge in reverse. It would go forward and you could feel it go into reverse but it just wasn't having it. With the car in neutral I jacked up the rearend and rolled the tires forward but couldn't get them to move at all going backwards. I could tell something was going on in the rearend. I pulled the cover off and there was a bolt from the ring gear wedged between the gear and the case. It was all ground down on one side where it had been riding for some time. Just about all the other ring gear bolts were a tick loose. Somehow it made it through last weekend and got itself in the trailer before it decided to tell me it was almost broke. Somehow this car always finds a way to tell me when something needs fixed. I just have to listen to what it's trying to tell me. I might be starting to figure it out.

After finding a cracked rod cap when I was assembling my engine a couple weeks ago and now finding a bolt in the rearend with no other damage I think I'll go buy a lottery ticket.

Somebody is smiling down on you....
Good catch..

When I pulled my 4.30 spool out I found 3 chipped/broken teeth on ring gears..
Guess it didn't like 5K T-brake launches..glad I retired it now..

Good luck at track...thought you meant all your round wins..

Its from all those years wearing those wife beater shirts when you worked on it. Now you have the car trained perfectly.

All the guys "training" their wives on the COPS tv show domestic violence calls were always wearing the white tank top.
