Thanks guys! Yes with the spare engine. It's not quite as fast but it's just as consistant. I found a cracked rod cap in my GRP aluminum rods in my good engine when I was assembling it a couple weeks ago. Since I had to buy a new set of rods I figured I better get my act together and win some money to pay for them. I won last week. That paid for half of them. I won again this week so that paid for the other half. I guess I may as well keep it going and go for 3 in a row to pay for gas to get to Norwalk.

Cool!

How's that boring bracket racing?

Does your track have a 'bracket national' type of event now?

Saw you won at CCD awhile ago also.

Thanks John!

That boring bracket racing is good! Lol! It doesn't matter what kind of racing it is as long as you get to make passes down the track. I find it more exciting as a driver because there is more involved driving both ends of the track. It's like a chess game at 100+ mph.

Yea I went down to CCD one weekend and took a little of their money home.

Do you mean like NHRA's Indy bracket finals? Yes, being we are now IHRA Div 5 we have a bracket finals in Michigan. It should be a real good time.

How "slow" is the spare engine and is it going to Norwalk?

The spare engine still runs pretty good. I was dialed 6.19 to 6.20 yesterday. Unless a miracle happens and my new rods get here sometime this week I'll have to show up with the stock block spare engine to Norwalk, which is fine. It should run right around 9.80.
