Hi,
I have an Eagle stroker crank EAG-104004250 for the 400 and lost my harmonic balancer bolt. I thought I had found another one but it doesn't fit the Eagle crank. Does this crank use the stock harmonic balancer bolt size? Which I think is 5/8"-18 x 1 3/4? Thanks, Ralph

It should take a stock bolt. Those cranks I have used in the past took stock bolts.

The bolt is 5/8-18 x 1-5/8 and torqued to 160 ft lbs. If you want use the ARP bolt # 190-2501. If you use the ARP bolt torque it to 180 ft lbs as it is much stronger than the grade 8 factory bolt.

i also use the ARP bolt no problem
and had a stock one as well with no problem and so have some of my friends, but then again that was years ago so maybe somethings changed if you have a new crank the ARP bolt is BEEFIE, not to mention the 5/8 head is so much easier to use when all pulleys/shrouds/brackets are installed and in the car |

Harbor Freight has a 3/4" drive 50 to 300 ft. lb. torque wrench that works well an isn't too spendy at $80.
