Tri power air cleaners Original VS repros
I have noticed that the repro air cleaners are different from originals.
we have discussed on here prior about the difference in the screens. Here are some pics of originals VS reproductions on the lids and bases. From what I can tell the original bases are metal and the repops are aluminum.

In those pictures you can see the original lids have a larger area for the wing nut to snug up against.

Why did you remove the pics. ? Would be nice for members to use for reference .

I did not remove the pictures ... Seems that they only stay posted for so long .. Must be a "Photo Bucket" issue.
