Default Stuck exhaust tip

Trying to correct my exhaust tips (point up) but cant seem to move them. Really stuck on, tried tapping a little. Just asking for suggestions before I get impatient and scratch/destroy something.

Thanks,
Jim

Try any penetrating oil to loosen the bond between the tip and the tail pipe yet?

Something like PB Blaster or Kroil?

Should they really point upward?

Thanks b-man! I will try that next, just not thinking straight as I'm just a little flustered from not driving my car! Our weather has been perfect up here in Nor Cal!
It has been pointed out to me on this board that pointed down is incorrect.

Time is on your side.

Let it soak for a few days if necessary.

No hurry, it's just a nice hobby car, right?

Good luck, Bart

Not really upward, but more like straight out the back. See the picture from the brochure below...

After looking at the pic in the original post again- Your tail pipes are coming straight out, they need to have a turn down on them so that when the tips are mounted they will point straight out the back.
