Default Timing marks ??

Have 2 lines on stock dampener for tdc which one is it or 2nd mark is adv6% stock tri power 389 1966 help

Looking at the balancer from the front of the engine, it is spinning clockwise from your perspective. So as the "lines" are going around, the one that gets to the pointer 1st would be the more advanved line. 6 deg BTDC (right line) is more advanced than TDC (left line).

Stock damper hub for 1966 (and 1967) has one mark for the scale on the timing cover.

Two marks were used on 1963½-1965 hubs for the pointer on timing cover, and the first mark in rotation direction is for 6° BTDC, the second for TDC.
