Default Offical Darksider!

This past Saturday my 61 Bonneville showed up! I bought this off The Monkey here on PY. Scott did a fantastic job restoring this car, the upgrades and modifications are top notch. Multiport fuel injection, Tremec 5 speed, cruise, power windows and heavily modified suspension top the list, but there are many more features that aren't mentioned here that make this car the ultimate cruiser. Can't wait for summer!

Paul, my fiancée absolutely loves the 70 and we plan to get her down the quarter mile in that car. So that car stays. So the logical choice was to sell the 66, but I was questioning the regret factor on that. Then my kids spoke up loudly and seems they are both vehemently opposed to loosing that car. Combined that with possible regret, I suppose that car will stay. Long story short, I will keep one at my Mom's house and rotate the cars at home.

Hi Stuart, I am so pleased with Scott's work and I don't want to mess too much with a well sorted combo. Hopefully the cam is still good and I can get away with a new sleeve, rod and piston. I have my fingers crossed!

I have always admired your car and hope to press you for some 61 specific knowledge over the coming months and years.

Gary, I sure hope to have it at the PY event! This car is just begging for a road trip!

Good to here it's begging to get out on the road.

As for the 66, if the gang at home couldn't convince you to keep it, I'm sure we all could... and would.... when we all showed up to kick yer butt. And I hate to hear a grown man cry. LOL I'm glad to hear you recovered from the error of your thoughts. Tell everyone there they get a high-five from me.

Nice car. That's what we Chicagoan's call a "6-body trunk".
How many know that many Pontiacs from the 60's had a 4 ft + wide trunk opening so you could haul a sheet of plywood?
