Default e brake switch source

having trouble finding a source for new ebrake switches. little switch that bolts/ screws to ebrake assy. completes the ground when lever is depressed and activate the brake light on the cluster. a single tan wire plugs into the back side.

The 1st-gen switch is repopped. It looks very close to the 2nd-gen version but the mounting hole is in a different location. Nothing a drill can't fix if you have to have NEW.

I guess if I cant find a new 2nd gen , I'll have to go this route.

Seems lately the cars I have been getting all have messed up / rusty switches.

that switch I sent the link... http://www.pysales.com/images/pyi100.jpg
is not the door jamb switch... it's an e-brake switch for the GTO's. I wasn't sure what yours looked like, but now I see it. PY does not have that, BUT Dens71TA said they make it in repro. Can Dens71TA tell me where it was located and I can try to find it for PY..?

No, they repo'd the first gen unit. You can modify it to work on second gen's.
