Distributor ID
Picked up a distributor with # 1111253 h7 could not find it in Eric Whites book.Any idea what it came out of ? Thanks

111253 is for a 1967 distributor, 400 cid 325/333hp engines.
But your date code shows Aug 7, 1968. I don't show it in 68, maybe a replacement?

It was in a 68 400 firebird it had the original carb and intake but not the original engine so I was thinking it was the original dist. Thanks for the help.

the "1253" was used in '68 400 2bbls & in '69 400 2bbl & base auto '69 400 4 bbl GrandPrix engines. Have several of this part number.
As yours is coded for early '69 model usage, most likely came out of a '69 Catalina (ton of 400 2bbls installed) or an early auto 400 GP.

The engine that was in it was a 69 gto YS engine could it been out of that engine?
