Throttle Linkage ?
I'm sure someone can answer this for me. Will a factory Q-jet linkage bracket work a Edelbrock Performer RPM and a Q-Jet ?

It depends on what year throttle bracket you are talking about. Like a 68-71 bracket has to be customized to fit an edelbrock manifold, but I think they have the correct provision for 72 up brackets. I changed my 70 GTOs throttle cable and bracket setup to a 72 style to use the newer style brackets for a cleaner install.

then I think you will probably need this bracket and you will have to cut and bend your original linkage to mount to it. Or you could easily make something very similar for free.

I don't know what the difference is in the Performer and the Torker II but I had a stock Poncho throttle bracket on mine with no adjustments needed. I've since changed it to a factory iron intake and used the same bracket.

I really don't remember either. I've since sold the intake. I know there wasn't an adapter but I can't remember if both legs were bolted down. If I strain my brain about it....there may have been a small steel bushing on the lower leg? I really can't remember.
Looking at your photo, I'm wondering if they may have reworked that area for the Torker II.
