Default 67 tail light housings questions

I'm going to do a light bead blast on the tail light housings I bought from Andre and am wondering what color I should paint the inside? ( the area that reflects the light)

It may not be "correct" but I painted mine with a rattle can of Chrome paint.

Spud, try the walnut media as it will do less harm to the parts. Not sure how it will work with rust, but I do know it's great for paint removal without hurting metal.

I was thinking that I would do this but wanted to make sure itd be reflective enough.

the housings really arent rusty, just arent very clean looking. I have access to plastic bead at work too that I can use.

Default PAINT

I have tried a few different paints on the inner housings,
I ended up using flat white and am very happy with the ones I have done.
They lights seem brighter and the red lens' really glow.
You might give it a try.

Plastic should work ok too. I was saying walnut as I've been using it to get the paint off a set of '79 WS Snowflake wheels and clean them up. No metal damage at all. Plastic 'might' be safer on thinner metals.
