Default 1965 GTO for sale

This is my neighbors car. I told him that I would put a picture of it here, but please direct the questions to him or his son. I know very little about this car, but what I do know I will include below.

He tells me it was originally a tri-power car, but that engine is gone and there is now a 455 from a 1970 in there, that is 30 over. He brought it to SoCal from Texas. The hood is a repop.

His name is Sergio and # is 909 238 4726. His son's # is 909 957 9215, his name is also Sergio. You can inquire there regarding the sale, price, condition, pick-up, registration or any of the numerous questions you may have. I have some larger pics, but there was shade, as you can see. The car is in Ontario, Ca, near the 60 and 15 fwy's.

He is asking $12000 obo.

Exclamation 1⃣9⃣6⃣5⃣ 🚧👉...Best to get PHS ❔❓ OR 💔🚫⛔🚨 ➕ 💲💲💲💰💰💰💣💣🔩🔧🔨

Best to get a PHS, even if pay for it yourselves...

Just do your homework that's all...

Clues...no '5N'on the cowl tag {may or may not be a clue ?} ➕ aftermarket shifter handle as well..; seller indicates; repop hood, engine [455Ci]

Could be something here though, for sure...

Fremont built car; Fremont did not use the 5 group coding system.

Nonetheless, as Dlarkins says - always best to get your own PHS.
