Default 66 wagon tail harness question

Hi.
A friend of mine who's restoring a 66 Bonneville wagon needs the tail harnesses.
Anyone who knows if other model years will fit?

He needs both of the harnesses. They connect to the flat harness that ends in the
spare wheel area with two connections that goes rearwards, if you understand what I mean.

(I'm having a bit of trouble explaining this in english, so bare with me, I'm a Swede)

One goes to the tail power window (white plastic connector with three wires)
and one goes to the tail, brake, licenseplate and backup lights (black plastic connector with five or six wires)

If you might have it, or know if any other year will fit without major modifications,
please let us know.

I've talked to both Indiana Pontiacs and Franks Pontiac Parts but no luck.
I P did have two 65 wagons but he wasn't sure if the harnesses are the same.

We've talked about making our own harnesses by using the ones on my wagon
as a template but I hope someone will help us out. It's worth a try.

Anders

As long as '65 has only one bulb in the tail light like '66, I don't see what the Diff. could be. I would try that or compare with a '66 you have and make any minor modifications that might be required. Be much quicker and cheaper. Removing could be a pain. The rubber insulator boot it goes through to the gate is near impossible to find. The gates are the same for sure on '65-6. If you look at the M&H catalog, that might provide some insight.

Thank you for the reply. We weren't sure if the 65's got the same flat harness with connectors as the 66 but it might be the same? 67-68 too, perhaps.

I'm not familiar with the M&H, tried to google it but...
