Default '70 455 HO on CL

Not mine...just thought it was an interesting car at a reasonable price for a real HO car, ready to go... Even has original block thrown into the deal...

The same seller recently sold a '69 RAIV Firebird. Went and looked at the '69 and saw this '70 GTO in another building. Didn't look the GTO over very carefully but it looked like a really decent car.

Ad is kind of a tease with only one photo but if I was in the market (ie, if I had the money to spend) I'd sure take a look at that one. Nice color combo too.

The seller is a member here, a real nice guy.
I got a pretty good look at the GTO. The description of the car's condition is honest and accurate.
I cant remember if it had Ram Air though, I had a RA IV bird fever.

Looks like it's still on there.... if this is it?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-...item3a81d79c9f

The guy has an 85% feedback. Looks like he even used the wording in your ad as well.
Could be though that the owner of the ebay account may not have actually placed the auction. Scammers use other's accounts to do that stuff most of the time.
Top right part of the screen, you should see 'Customer Support'....Somewhere in that extremely user un-friendly jungle is a link for reporting an auction. I found it and moments later tried to navigate back to it and couldn't find it..but it's there somewhere.

The eBay link PHS shows an air cleaner, heavy duty (K45/724), but no air inlet, hood (T42/601).

Carnut, did you get it pulled? It's no longer listed.

Sorry BVZ....just saw post....

No, I still have it. I had two at one time. Both Ram Air 455 Autos. One was Burgundy/Black.

This one is Trip Green: Palisades Green, auto, numbers matching with 7040270 XA carb, original wheels, one repaint, a real barn find.

Its a decent driver... be on the road soon.
