63 LeMans Project
I just couldn't help myself. I have know about this car for over a year and it finally followed me home from Jerry Brock's place over the memorial day weekend. Still has the original 326 and the trans/rear suspension was in the trunk. Currently just sitting (literally) on a 10 bolt rear. I'm not sure exactly what the plan is for it yet other than the 535/TH400 from my Grand Prix will be going in. Mini tub? Full tube chassis? End Goal is to be light/consistent/and quick 16 fast.

Looks very familiar. If you ever plan to race in any nostalgia classes, just do the back chassis as a full tube chassis isn't allowed. If looking for the fastest/lightest car you can build, full tube. Good luck and keep us posted.

We need more Pontiac's in Nostalgia Super stock. I am almost usally the only one in nmca. There's also a Victory Series also. You can also run at Monster Mopar Events and The Hot Rod Reunion. There's a Monster Mopar @ Norwalk this year and Indy

Man I don't know about this one. She is a bit ruff. Just finished cleaning out the coon crap out of the trunk. Maybe I paid too much.

Looks pretty good. Good luck with it! I vote no on the tube chassis, but that's just me. My '63 has a very nice rack and pinion conversion amongst other things. I've posted pics before, but will again if you are looking for ideas. You can get a decent tire under it without mini tubbing it.

I'm not sure I see anything "Nostalgia Super stock" about a MR1 block, highport heads, or sheet metal intake, and twin demon carbs. James you have your car about finished and have you weighed it? Hooter what does your car weigh?
