Default 69 GTO No crank issue

Hello all,
MY 69 GTO has been in indoor storage a LOOOOONG time. I have been working on it a bit here and there to repair the damage I did from being a teenager (headers, removing the A/C etc.) I changed the original inline Auto shifter to a 1968 Dual gate unit. I recently replaced the Headers with H.O. Manifolds. Since the wiring had been burned and repaired several times I replaced the Engine Harness with a new M and H unit for the H.O. manifolds. WHile I was at it I changed the starter to a high torque mini unit to clear the manifolds. now done and installed I have no cranking at the starter. I bench tested the starter and it is ok. The car is a tilt column car but has the ignition switch replaced in 1988 with a non tilt unit and it worked fine until the wiring change. The neutral safety switch has been bypassed temporarily and the fuses look good. Where would you start next?

Thanks, Jeff

I have wondered on those new harnesses if there could be too much of that grease on the terminal ends. They really goop that stuff in there! 1st thing I'd do is check for voltage at the coil.

The next step is to take a test light and check for power at the "S" terminal
of the starter with the key in the start position. If you have power at the purple wire
in the start position the problem is at the starter connection. If you have no power
there, check for power at the purple wire you jumped at the neutral switch for power in the start position. If you have power there, you have a problem at the junction box connection
at the firewall.
