Trunk torsion bar
The 69 gto i just bought has a spoiler but did not come with one from factory so torsion bars are not strong enough. Are correct ones avail Someplace or can these be adjusted to the next notch to make more tension?

Torsion rods are the same regardless of judge or non-judge. I have several 69s and they are all different depending on plant build if you can believe that. I can check my cars later this week.

I'll be at a car show may 4th and I'll measure a real judge that will be there against mine. I'm curious now.

i remember when the big thing was "pink" trunk rods....they brought 100 times what a regular set brought..and they where the same..lol
i guess pink paint on one end was the pick code...people said awe shucks pink is for a judge... once someone says it, or gets into print, or posted on the internet..it must be true .010 is nothing in springs they are rolled out of a spool go thru two or three dies and get straightened before heat treating..its a spring not a lot of need to be controlled, say as much as a lifter etc....
