Default Cape Coral Christmas boat parade

We had our friends with their 48 foot sporstsfisher ask us to help decorate and go aboard their boat for the parade again this year. It was a great day with the temps in the 70's during the day and down to 65 after the sun went down. We had 18 aboard the Hooked Up and had a buffet in the Bimini Basin prior to the parade starting.
It was a great day to be with friends for sure!

We just had a problem with the light in the Santa hat. When it blew, it tripped the GFI breaker and took out about half of the other lights just at sundown. A little scurrying and troubleshooting and it was taken care of.

Here is a youtube of last years parade with the Hooked Up in the opening and at about 48 seconds in. Look for rudolph on the bow, the Christmas tree on the front deck and a big santa hat on the hardtop.

We took a little detour after leaving their home to check out some wildlife and were greeted with dolphins playing in our wake and a bald eagle out fishing.

Cool, is the parade at Fishermans Village at PGI? One of these years we'll make it down for that.

You should, they have several and they're all good.

Seems like I remember a Pirate themed one around Labor day?
