I was just looking at their KC list last night.
Those 3 are all nicely restored cars. There is a Red III 4spd going up today too iirc |

Anyone have the PHS on the CR 69 Judge? Wonder if it came from the factory with cornering lights, especially being a RA IV. Beautiful car

Have to admit it was a classic color combination. No air conditioning either. It's a very good price but I don't know if it's a record. I'm checking my auction records back to 2007-08 to see if anything came that close.

would have loved to own either one of the R/A IV cars for those prices, especially the four speed CR/Parchment '69.....

The price of the '70 RA IV car has got me thinking about pulling the plug on my '70 RA III resto. If RA IV auto cars as clean as this car appears to be are selling at that this price, what could you expect from a RA III auto car in similar condition. I'd rather dump the RA III as it sits and buy the RA IV.
Anybody know if the '69 and '70 cars were numbers matching? |

According to this log, $84,700 was highest price for a 71 Hdtp Judge, in 2007 at a Barret Jackson auction. Someone might could check BJ archives and see which one that was - it says it was fresh resto 4spd.
http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/d...auctionResults Here is recent thread about the Black/White 71 http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=712647 It sure must have gotten an over the top resto to pull 92,500. 2 or 3 must have went to war over it or something. Very very sharp looking now - no doubt. Pic when it had green stripes and PHS |

It was a great day to buy an IV Judge in KC
Figured there would be some bargains at that event - since no reserve. And its not a hot bed location. The Red 70 IV Auto has been for sale for years. Maybe not always by the same seller. idunno It was always asking right around 100k. Had been on eBay many times again and again. Nice car and bought well today. imo |

That 71 was my old car that I bought from a member here. I ended up selling it to Cena. That car was totally numbers matching down to the starter. He did a very nice resto on it. It had mostly original paint , but needed to be restored. Glad it did so well.

Hey Chuck was your old Judge a matching number?
Didn't your wife buy the 67 wagon as a gift to you? I thought you never sell that one! |

The 71 was a good numbers car and that's the best I've seen for a Judge and auto too.
I thought 80K was previous high point, and they both pulled in good money with high end restoration costs as well to do it. Maybe Chuck could tell us what his Red one did? I heard it was good coin too?? Here is the BJ 07 one as I thought it was 77K? White/Jade 4 speed car.
