None, and it's one of my deepest regrets.

Thanks to all who have!

I enlisted in the US Navy to serve our country and see the world. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to set foot on a ship or even leave the states.

US Navy and I spent a whole six months out of 4 years on the USS enterprise in the Tonkin Gulf 1972-73. I did get to see the Aleutian Islands and a really weird place called California!
And, my thanks to everyone that has served or is serving our country!

Make that three of us who were in the Navy and never stepped foot on a ship. Flew Aircrew on P-3 Sub Hunters tracking Soviet/Russian Subs, 1969-1973. No tailhook, so no Carrier Duty.

None. Close to signing on for the Navy. I went back to school instead. Should've done both.

Tried to sign up for the Navy twice. First time was fresh out of high school and was told that I didn't have enough education and to come back after college despite the 99 ASVAB score. Second time came back with a master's degree and was told I was too educated and the Navy had no use for someone who knew how to build and work on high voltage electronics. Never could figure it out... just chalked it up to completely idiotic recruiters.
