Default Trunk Divider Panel

Which was does this go in, with the jute towards the trunk or towards the passenger cabin?

I figured the jute should be placed toward the trunk so it will provide a cushion against the rear bulkhead, and stop it from vibrating/rattling. They only sell a "one size fits all" panel, and mine needed to be trimmed on the passenger side, so once it is trimmed it cannot be reversed.
