I honestly wouldnt 25.5 but would rather 25.4 or 25.3. The resale would be much better if someone ever wanted to go faster than 7.50.

I'm gonna try to get into 8.50 index. Only going 25.5 for resale over 8.50 cage. Don't really want to spend the extra $$ but might as well since starting from scratch. Got some 29.5 10.5 w's coming from Mike Leech. May only go with mini tub but I like back half look.

Looks great Bro best of luck with it, and you might as well add the funny car cage in it, and get it out the way, what kind of target weight are you looking to come in at with it?

I would go 25.4, cost should be the same as 25.5 and it is easier to convert to 25.3 or 25.2. 25.4 would put all of the bars under the car instead of in the car.

Not that it matters to you but after doing my 69 tempest I would agree ^^^. It wouldnt be hard to cut out the backhalf and add the rear braces and frame tubes if you or someone else wanted to convert it to a 25.3. Just make sure the floor has the X brace and the few extra tubes and your set.

Ask them if they would install a round cross member for the ladder/4 link instead of a 2"X3" tube just in case you opt up to the 25.3.

If they cut the entire floor out the car will slip right over the chasiss. Made mine weld up really easy. I.E, less labor..

Man I wish you would have started earlier or me later. I pulled the entire back half chassis from from to rear out of my 69 so I could do a tube chassis. It was an 8.5 cert chassis but with ladders and all the good stuff up front. Couldn't give it away in my neck of the woods.
