Default Dome Light Bezel - 63

The chrome has specks and needs a good cleaning. Is there a way to remove the chrome ring without disturbing the headliner?

is'nt it just screwed in or twisted on, i know a 64 gto plastic piece fits in there if yours is old.

My lens is gone. I know they repop them and the bezel too. I want to see how well it cleans up before I order replacement for it or just the lens. I didn't try too hard, but it didn't twist loose and it looks like little bent over tabs are holding part of it in. My headliner is original and really nice but I know the threads will disintegrate if you poke them, so I don't want to mess it up by leaning on it the wrong way.

Got it. It was just pressed up into place & held there by friction.
