Default Now this is odd!

Can't recall ever seeing this before. A '73 with a Blue interior. IIRC, you could order Blue accent carpeting with certain color/trim combos, but all Blue?
The PHS is there, but quite small. Looks like there was only one extra cost option originally.

Looks cool, but that color was never offered. Special order maybe? Only colors were White, Saddle, Black, Biege and Burgundy.

It looks like 1970 bright blue to me. To bad it wasn't offered, it look real nice.

The seats and door panels are repo in that blue metalic color. Looks like they tried to redye the rest of the interior to match. Funny if all repo pieces that they would get standard door panels with custom seats. Maybe that's what the owner wanted at the time.

Custom bucket seat interior was offered in perforated Morrokide or Prado cloth with Bravo Bolster cloth and Madrid Morrokide. Bright Blue, red or orange carpets were offered optionally.
According to Jim to decode the trim on the cowl tag you must add a "2" to the front and drop the last character of the codes below. For example, the Pontiac code listed for standard white interior 321; the Fisher Body code would be 232.
Interior color options where: White(321std/421cust), Saddle (331std/431cust), Black(361std/461cust), Burgundy(custom only 471), Beige (cloth only 551).

The Highlighted color he has noted is Saddle standard but yet color option Cameo White??? which does not make Blue!

You could only get the Bright Blue Carpet option with trim groups 321 or 421.

Definitely built to someone's tastes, rather to original appearance/colors. But it IS pretty!

Agreed Norwood,,,, I'd replace the horn button with black and put deluxe door panels on it and enjoy.... I really like the blue gut/s on any 70-73 car (stock or not)....

Nice looking car....I agree, the horn button should be black...would work better.
And I've always preferred the look of the delux door trims.

Regardless of how GOOD the interior looks,it just NOT part of a 50K car,PERIOD!

(besides, the rad cap & cigar lighter are incorrect )

Agree on the color. Bright blue should have lasted a lot more years than it did. Blue cap baffles me. Strange bird that would like that look. I also prefer the custom interiors over the standard. Has anyone ever posted otherwise? I've swapped a few standard interiors for custom interiors over the years, mostly in '76 TAs I owned.

I'll be building a new Polar White 70 TA pro-touring ride that incorporates the Sparco 505's I've been using in my last few builds that will be covered with original material/s (center section real deal comfort-weave I purchased)...

I wanna be like Tazzz when I grow up!!! Seriously, I've always wanted to do a 70-73 Trans Am with a full leather interior in place of all the vinyl. In the original color of course.

I actually like BOTH standard & custom trim upholstery in 70-75 birds.

In 76 they started using Camero seats for standard trim & they really BLOW!

The 70-75 standard seat covers remind me of an old time backcatchers chest protector.
