78 Redbird 4 speed
A guy locally has a 1978 Redbird 350 chevy 4 speed from the factory. It is pretty much original 84k miles no rust (needs paint), has good options (Gauges, pw, tilt, pt, rear spoiler, cloth interior, etc). Not original motor, but everything else is. Downside, has aftermarket sunroof. The car is straight and runs and drives well. Was thinking of getting it for the wife. The guy is at 2500 firm, which I think is a pretty good deal?

If that's what you want, it sounds like a pretty reasonable deal. I'm not to crazy about the aftermarket sun roofs either. Maybe some junkyard cutting and a new paint job would help with that? In any case, for a driver you could do worse.
