Default 62 Catalina Wagon

I saw this on Craigslist today. Wish I had thje money I would definately take the drive to look at it.

For sale - 1962 Pontiac Catalina Safari station wagon. Has 127xxx miles. Interior is 7/10 exterior 6/10 (taking into account age of vehicle). Some rust spots on the outside. Needs some TLC. Strong motor that was rebuilt. White exterior/red interior. Original interior. Please email for more pictures/information. Will respond to all questions and reasonable offers.

Yes, it looks like a nice car. '62 wagons are among the best looking IMO.

If someone is looking for somethig like this but, for much less money, that is not running and needs to be gone through, I have a few available at around 1/3 the price or less.

Most would prefer to use a later engine and modern trans anyway, I have some less eng/trans and some with eng/trans. $1,000- $2,000ea.

I am building a green Catalina Safari for myself too to enjoy.

That is where is was born in Sunnyvale. Steve I have all my brakes almost done, and am doing fuel lines and tank also. Going to have my hip replaced on the 17th so I am trying to get everything done so I can get it off the jackstands prior. Andy

Glad to see you making progress Andy. I'm working on my brakes too. not sure I have to work on the fuel lines just yet. Hope your surgery goes well and a rapid recovery.

I had my son talked into this wagon as his first car, but I guess it has sold since the link is dead to contact the seller.
