Default MD Performance Center engine dyno

Anyone have any experience with them? They are located in Fredrick MD. Called today and they are charging $880 for a day on the dyno. Drop engine off on a Monday and they have it ready to go in day or two on their setup and then go in for a full day dyno session. Price includes tuning, but no parts changes...etc.

I have only ever used a chassis dyno (HP Works/Colonial Beach, VA), so don't know if this is typical pricing..etc. Sounds good to me from what they said on the phone.

Any other engine dyno facilities in DMV area that anyone would recommend?
Any gotchas that you can think of for a day on the dyno...ie. extras you should have brought, tools, kits..etc.

TIA

Our pricing is similar,We do most engines with Wideband o2 on each cylinder. The engines we build in house ,dyno price is included in assembly labor.Bill C.

dumb question. Do you take your own headers to the engine dyno, or do they have their own setups?

It is best to dyno and get wideband o2 data, you will need o2 bungs in the headers, prefferable in all cylinders.Bill C.

Randy has several Pontiac headers, at least one set with sensor bungs that Jack Gaydosh provided.

Troy, got your PM. No hurry, hopefully we can catch up with each other at the track this year... if I can finally get this nightmare engine together, LOL!

I think Burtonsville Perfomance is around $500-600.
