Question So....what'd ya get?

As of this Christmas morning, I am no longer the only person in California who does not have a flat screen TV. A brand new 32" Samsung LCD TV was under the tree.

So how did you guys do? Any Pontiac-related stuff?

Material gifts aside, the best gift of this Christmas was seeing one of my new grand daughters have her first Christmas. Here she is with my Mom, her maternal great-grandmother. 7 months and 77 years, respectively.

A couple of shirts, two pair of Levi's, a box of chocolate covered cherries, a pair of Nike walking shoes and a complete kit to convert my Turbo 400 equipped GTO into a TKO600 equipped GTO.

As noted above, some really happy kids. I spent a few hours yesterday afternoon installing an amp and 2 subwoofers in my youngest sons truck.....boom....boom....boom.....

No projectile vomiting here.

Kat got you a IA II block, boy you sure know how to pick em' .

As for me, grandkids got me several guy signs for my garage and Sharren got me one of the new repop 69-72 GTO double snorkle air cleaners for the GP. I'm pulling the dual quads and replacing them with a single Cliff's Q-jet (thanks, Shawn ) mounted on the original ported 68 iron intake.

And the best present of all; I am recovering from a serious case of bacterial pneumonia (my second time) following a one week hospitalization and I am still here .

Thanks Les, John helped her as well, now all the tough questions. how many cubes, what heads, forged or billet crank, roller cam or solid. I know one thing for sure Shaker 455( Jeff) will be building my my newe carb. Your inbox will be full with lots of questions. Glad to hear you are doing OK on the bacterial infection. Looking forward on seeing the results on the GP with Q -Jet

Shawn

I accepted nothing from the people I don't like. I decided not to open their gifts to me this year.

I cant agree more. My daughters face was brighter than the sun when she opened up he new Wii. I tell me wife and daugher that all the time I dont want much if anything. My daughter walked around with a huge grin giving lots of hugs. That was my gift.

Just a few years ago, I didnt have any of the things I have now. My wife, our new house and the pup. Spent the holidays alone. Really makes you appreciate the what you have.
