How to remove rear quarter window chrome seal retainers
I am changing over my seals i think they have done a good enough job lasting 40 plus years
 So one seal strip just came off easy as . The driver side ( yours ) just does not want to come off. Ok whats the trick ? I dont want to break glass or bend chrome strip and they are power windows if that makes a difference . To hold the strip back in place on the glass just sicaflex along the glass and dont move windows for week.? Craig |

Craig did you just use sealant to refit the chrome strip onto the glass?

I used cork type gasket I got from a glass shop. It was about an inch or so wide and I carefully trimmed what was exposed after installing the chrome back on the glass.
