yes, but you will likly have to cobble at least two hoses with the right bends and angles in them that you need by coulpling them at some point with a section of the proper size ( OD) exhaust pipe, which is what I had to do for a while with my 671 super charger set up untill about 1986 when I worked for a auto partrs store and went catalog shopping and found a near drop in hose that I only had to shorten at on end by 1.5 inches.

Be careful about where the radiator cap is located on the aluminum unit. If it is moved from the original '65 location it might cause interference problems with the hood. That is a problem I ran into on my '64 Tempest.

I used a Summit radiator. Had to make some stands to go in the bottom of the core support to get the height located properly. A friend at work gave me the fans off of his 95 Stratus. Working well so far. It was HOT today (for May) never got over 190, actually cools better around town, won't go over 185 (which is where the fan controller is set). I was able to use a stock '67 upper hose, the bottom required a universal flex hose.

Default aluminum radiator

Have you considered using the 66 waterneck and 66 upper hose? The 66 neck points toward the driver's side.

Or, since your 65 neck point straight up, use a 66 2 or 4 bbl upper hose. Should work.

Any idea what the radiator weighs empty?
Curious, what is the fitting by the #7 spark plug?

The fitting looks like an oil drain back line.

It is an oil drainback line, haven't had time to plumb it to the pan yet. On the weight, I didn't weigh it, but it was less than half the stocker for sure. Probably less.

Guys,
While the aluminum radiators are usually lighter, they hold more coolant. Thus, the total weight will likely be greater then brass units. I use a large core Griffith and gained close to 15# over a large brass radiator due to the added volume of coolant. But it sure cools better!

Does an aluminum radiator with electric fans run cooler than a stock radiator and fan setup?

I agree with Jim Hand. Griffin's large core radiator cools much better than my Harrison 4-core. Also no problem with the fit on my 66.

ditto on the Griffin capacity to cool....5 blade clutch fan with the standard duty clutch cools exceptionally....no need for electric fans on mine.......and it gets a little warm down here in the summer!

Pontirag, the griffin looks pretty stock. That's what's in my 64. Welds and no Harrison stamp are the big differences.
