Your going to love it. Last March I traded in my 2005 Electra Glide for a 2010 Ultra Limited. Last week I put on pipes and a tuner on it. I love the sound and the way it jumps when you crack the throttle.

Congrats on going with the Harley. I know you'll love it... wife too for the comfort.

I sure miss my 76 FXE Super Glide Custom. Now I wanna cry.

ANY FXR based bike was one of the best (if not THE BEST) riding Harley ever made. Waiting for the snow to melt so I can ride (maybe this saturday,,,supposed to hit 50!) Also have a ride planned around Lake Superior this summer. Anybody else have any rides planned yet?

I had a ride to Alaska planned for this summer. I just had to cancel our plans. So now we're riding up thru Lake Placid then over to Mt Washington. From there on to Bar Harbour Maine. We're going from 7/1 to 7/6.

In 06 I bought a brand new Fatboy. Bought all the goodies as well . Removable windshield, removable sissy bar/rack , removable bags, Screaming eagle options. First year hardly rode it, same as second year, but from the third year until now, I ride all the time. You`ll have fun.

You will love it. I have an 04 Harley Heritage and have put 36000 miles on it in 5 years. I bought it used with less than 6000 miles on it.

Have fun and watch for the other guys.

Robert

every summer in the local Mountain Trader sales rag there usually is someone selling a ratty 60's backyard Harley chopper special deteriorated to leaky rusty faded patina... 2000 dollar pile of problems and five generations of style outdated.... what the hell is wrong with me that I want one?
