Default How to Rebuild Pontiac V-8's!!! New Book!!!

I guess it is safe to anounce Rocky Rotella's New book on rebuilding Pontiac V-8's. Since I just got the fax anouncing it is available in April. So there will be a great book on rebuilding Pontiacs from start to finish. And yes a few other notable builders and myself have our builds in a section. I am eagerly awaiting!
Rocky spent considerable time on this book. I am sure it will be great!
Go to the Cartech Books website!

Awesome! ALWAYS room for more Pontiac books! I wish this stuff was around 20+ years ago when all I had was H~O Racing (which was great, but I couldn't find their stuff in the local library).

Here is what my fax says.

Long time Pontiac expert and magazine writer Rocky Rotella guides the reader through the entire rebuild process. Drawing in his vast experience, Rotella uses detailed captions and explanatory photos to show each crucial step of the disassemly, inspection, machine work, parts selection, assembly, and break in process. The book instructs the reader how to skillfully pull the engine and prevent damage to the car. It documents how to carefully inspect the components for problems and fix these isssues that could spell doom for a newly rebuilt engine.

Ace,

Have you heard what bookstores will be caring it? Barnes & Noble? Books-a-Million?
I'm not sure Borders will still be in business.

That is awesome....it is also pretty cool to see how Rocky's participation in the hobby has evolved over the years and that someone willing to put the time and energy into something can end up creating a book like this. He really should be proud!!

Actually, I wrote "Pontiac High Performance Engine Design and Blueprint Assembly" (H-O #TD-02) 38 years ago. Even though its content is still valid today, I personally am glad to see that there are still authoritative and updated books being published on our favorite engine, the Pontiac V-8. Also, Pete McCarthy, Jim Hand and now Rocky Rotella (sorry if I left out any others) are all to be lauded for taking on and executing such a project as a full book on the subject.
