Default I did search - soda blast surface rusted car panels?

People talked about stripping paint - how much surface rust will soda blasting remove?

what is the going rate for a hood, fender, or frame size job?

anyone in Connecticut?

Agree with paint guy. Was quoted 700 to 800 for a whole car a Mustang a few years ago.

Unless car is a shell, I dont recommend soda blasting....

I did it, but still had dash in car..... a year later I still have baking soda coming out from under dash.... very little, but its still up there....

Might have been the only thing I did "wrong" with my resto

67GTONUT has a good point mine was on a rotisserie and a shell so we could wash and blow out the soda. The first car I did back in the 80s with out a rotisserie I sand blasted a lot of the interior and thought I got it all out but every bump in the road a little bit came out till the day I sold it.....Told the guy that bought it I just came back from the beach.

Default soda blast

You can sandblast but baking soda is too fine> its so fine it will hide from the naked eye and then hold moisture where you dont want it too> a fine is much better but make sure whom ever does it know what they are doing>
