Default PONTIAC DEALER SIGNS, CLOCKS, BANNERS + MORE

Here is a Pontiac dealer catalog that they would pick their signage from.

Not all pages are shown but it had clocks, service items and other options.

It was based on the population of the city/town in which the dealer was located and only two of the sizes were shown in my post (had four total to pick from).

I am looking for some of the sign hangers and lights if anyone has some or similiar, PM me.

Jeff

"GOODWILL" What was that title? Did all Pontiac dealerships have a Goodwill Used Car operation.
I found a ligthed sign that has Goodwill Used Cars with the triangle pontiac logo.
I thought it may have been the name of the dealership in the town where I found the sign.(Columbia, SC)???

Yes, it was used on PMD used car lots. It was a brand awareness title/name all in one.

Selling the sign? Let me know, I'm close.

Is that the sign that mounts on outside wall of a building and runs vertical (top to bottom)?

Can you post a picture?

Signs have taken a hit as well in this economy.

Walker and Co. made many of the signs, porcelain and neon. The company name was changed after WWII to Walker and Sons, iirc.

Here are some prices and signs from AUCTIONS PAST:
*I will have to add prices later, dont have on this laptop*

**The last one shown, a blue ribbon porcelain sign I have been looking for was sold at Mecum auction while the guy on the phone messed around with his paperwork...lol
... I could hear thenm bidding on it and kept trying to get the guys to stop fumbling...oh well...someone got a very nice sign for around $800 if I recall. Hard to find.

Nice sign! Havent seen a PENN NEON dealer sign before, but I am a novice collector.

I assume they (PMD) used differernt sources.

I just had a guy call me with one that is still mounted on a wall at a small dealership up North.
For sale. Its been serviced all aling by sign company that installed it.

Its like the one I posted above.

If anyone is interested, I will hook you up. Hes asking big bucks, though....IMHO.
