I collect old pre 70's Omega seamasters , My stepfather gave me my first one back in college , I have 3 , other than that I collect odd looking ones like the blue faced craftsman tool watch issued by fossil and a couple of Wengers and have one Rolex ( was my step Dads he got it when he sold his first million in steel back inthe 60's)

My wife gave me a Bulova back on 2002. It still works and still looks great, even after 2 years in Afghanistan.

I normally break a watch every 18 months to 2 years, so a watch lasting 8 years for me is phenomenal.

I gave my wife a Raymond Weil about 12 years ago. It still looks like brand new and she wears it every day. I wear a $23 Casio digital because it's light weight, I can easily read it at night and the handy light will illuminate a hotel room bathroom so I can aim without turning on the bathroom light....
I have a 1975 Omega Constellation that I wear when I need to dress a little snappier.

My wife gave me a Seiko Automatic about 10 years ago. Wear it every day. Never needs a battery. Runs perfect. Does need a new lens, (glass) only cause it has 10 years of scratches.

Wenger here - looks good casual and dressed up, wear it until the battery dies, then get a new one.

Last Christmas, my wife chipped in and together we bought me a Citizen Eco-Drive watch. Analogue time, date and a second set of hands for another time zone...which I have set to UTC time since I'm in the aviation industry.
Really nice watch.

I used to have a Certina I bought when I was 15...(1958), got stolen in a burglary in 1982, replaced it w an Omega.....also have a Tourneau that was given to my by the company after 15 yrs service...but for everyday since 15 yrs I use a Swatch, the "Skin" version, now on my second as I scratched the first up quite a bit while working on cars etc...VERY thin, weighs nothing...about $80 , bought online

I wore a Citizen Blue Angel Chronograph for years, but now wear a black faced Skagen slimline from Denmark.

I almost never used the remaining miles/fuel calculator on the chronograph, anyways.

Seiko Quartz. I do have a hand me down Rolex that quit working after I was at the Grand Camen Island and swimming with the sting rays. It got a litted fogged up and I guess when the salt water dried it crystalized the salt and stopped it. I need to get it cleaned one day but right now cannot afford to do so.

I have a helbros I inherited as well as another fancy one. Got a really good deal on a fancy "rolex" in Iraq too, never thought you could get one of those for 20.00. Actually i was amazed buy this guys persistance, so I gave in a bought it. The crazy part is it looks really good keeps good time and fakes out 95 % of the people I have shown it to. Mark
