Default '72 Firebird For Sale

'72 base FB needs a good home. Lifelong California car, original 350 2bbl, turbo 350, owned since '92, daily driver until '05. Has sat covered last 5 years. Runs/drives but deserves attention I am no longer able to give it. Asking $2500.

Description: Original sheet metal in good condition. Needs some body work and paint job.
Interior needs work. All glass in good shape. Orig engine has 140,000. Turbo 350 rebuilt in 1990. Differential replaced with 8.5 inch 10 bolt safety track (posi) with 3.42 ratio. Quadrajet 4bbl and '72 4bbl intake and 068 cam added.

Front suspension rebuilt which includes upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, and tie rod ends. Aprox. '78 Trans Am rear sway bar 3/4 in? added.
Originally an A/C car, but is missing compressor, condenser, etc. New dual exhaust, with original log manifold.

Has been very easy to work on over the years (minimum amount of rusted/corroded fasteners). It's been an amazingly reliable car/daily driver, sturdy, for years that deserves better than to end up at the local recycling yard.

super clean and priced right!
Reminds me of my '73 Firebird that I bought a few years back.........what a joy to work on, no rust! Every bolt, nut and screw came off with ease. Spent it's entire life near San Francisco just like this one.

PM sent, I have family in California that might be able to look at this for me, I might be interested.

Rust wise....
How are the A pillar to dash areas?
Rear frame rails, tail pan and rear lower roll pan (under bumper area)?
Floor & trunk...any holes?...more pic's?
How is the dash, cracks?
Is it now drivable?

I'll send you another PM, I'd like to get some shipping quotes but can't do that until I have your info.

sorry it's taken awhile to respond...yes A pillars are great, just spots of minor rust. rear rails, lower rear pan and back panel are excellent, floors are good and trunk has superficial surface rust, no holes...have worked to rebuild dash, now some places have cracks, cluster is mostly intact...it is drivable, but not up to full testing speed quite yet.
