Default '65 fan guard

I'm looking for a '65 fan guard for tri-power (with the filler hole on the passenger side).

I have around four of these acquired in a parts deal.

I assume you mean water filler hole is located on pass side?

If not, tell me what to look for and I will check.

Thanks for looking, chrisp!

Yep, I need one with the filler opening on the passenger side.

I kinda thought this would be a shot in the dark but, you never know what someone might have laying around...

Jeff, let me know if you end up having one that you wanna part with.

Eric

Yeah,.. I know they're repopped. I already recieved one... I didn't want to bad mouth the part until I heard a response back from the vendor.

The repop part is not very good. The quality of the stamping leaves much to be desired. All of the edges are rough and there is an odd looking dent right in the middle of it (between the two "holes"). The edges could be filed and smoothed but, that dent in the middle really bothers me. I could try to straighten out but, I'm afraid that it will never have that nice crisp stamped look to it.

I called the vendor and he said all of them had the same dent in them. I'm kinda bummed.. For the cost of these things you would think that they would be nice pieces.. guess not..

Thanks guys,
Eric

I found one, but not the one you need.

I have more somewhere, so once I find them I will advise.

Sorry to recycle but I thought it would be better then starting a new thread. What are the standard fan guards worth in good condition? I am selling some of my old Pontiac stuff locally and I want to get the pricing right.
