What goes in lower bolt holes of Tail Panel
I just picked up a new tail panel for the 69 Convertible and there are 2 bolt holes that have a nut welded on the inside that are along the bottom lower edge. The bumper brackets are much higher. From the pictures I have seen of other cars as well as my own car, I have no idea what goes there. Any ideas?
Thanks much |

Yup, lower part of the valance, even lower than the license plate/ gas tank filler hole. They are about 2 inches from the bottom edge. You can see them in the pic if you look real close. They take a 5/16 bolt. The little dimples around the bolt holes are from the spot welds for the cage nuts and reinforcing

looks like it's for the camaro 'bumperettes' that extend down from the rear bumper:

i think it's interesting that the box specifies 'firebird, '69', but obviously has a camaro part in it. edit: that's for the tail light panel.
