Exclamation Wet floorboards.

Guys,

I have a mystery leak apparently. The carpet on the passenger side ONLY floorbards is wet in front and behind the bucket seat. Discovered after these last Spring rains we've had; lifted the floormats and, surprise.

What's a notorious place to look for a leak at? Cowl?

get underneath the car and push up on the floor pan plugs. when the seam sealer gives up, it'll leave an entry for water. driving in the rain will blast water right up there.

These cars like to rot at the base of the windsheild.

Default heater core

Perhaps your heater core is leaking?

Real easy test.....remove all carpeting and padding.....remove the seat......sit inside with a flashlight and let your assitant run a garden hose outside slowly from front to back. Here are some leak areas:

1. Cowl seams
2. Windshield channel
3. Fresh air door in pass kick panel
4. Rusted A-pillar letting water seep behind the w.strip
